We are delighted to be partnering with a public sector body to recruit a temporary Paralegal, offering the opportunity to play a key role in supporting adjudication, governance and information rights work. The role: Provide administrative and paralegal support to the Commissioner for Standards, including adjudication processes Prepare and manage adjudication case files, records, scheduling and hearing arrangements Coordinate information governance, ensuring compliant record-keeping and decision-making processes Draft, track and coordinate responses to SARs, FOI and EIR requests within statutory deadlines Draft legal correspondence, maintain legal records and support governance functions Conduct legal research and prepare reports to inform management decision-making Uphold organisational values, equality and safety standards, and contribute flexibly to wider work activities The Person As the successful candidate you will have the following background and experience: Essential: Experience providing legal or governance support and advice within an administrative setting Strong understanding of confidentiality, data protection, information governance and administrative justice procedures Proficient in using IT systems and remote communication platforms, with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines Experience supporting adjudication or complaints casework What's in it for you?: An annual salary £31,537 to £33,699 Immediate start Fantastic annual leave allowance (37 days annually inclusive of statutory days) Hybrid and flexible working arrangements Based in Belfast City Centre To speak in absolute confidence about this opportunity please send an up to date CV via the link provided or contact Meghan Hamilton, Senior Recruitment Consultant on or on email at m.hami.
