We are expanding our Consulting team and are seeking Consultants and Senior Consultants with deep Smartsheet technical expertise. Ideally individuals who have built, deployed, and supported complex Smartsheet solutions for large customers and are now looking for their next step.
Overview of the Role
This role is hands-on and delivery-focused. You will be responsible for designing and building complex, scalable Smartsheet solutions that go far beyond basic sheet configuration.
You will work directly with senior client stakeholders to translate business problems into robust Smartsheet architectures, often involving:
* Advanced automation
* Control Center programmes
* Data integrations
* Governance models
* Multi-team, multi-workspace deployments
At Senior Consultant level, you will also act as a technical authority and mentor, supporting solution quality, delivery standards, and client confidence.
Key Responsibilities
Solution Design & Delivery
* Lead the end-to-end design and build of complex Smartsheet solutions for mid-market and enterprise clients.
* Architect scalable Smartsheet environments, including workspace strategy, governance, permissions, and lifecycle management.
* Build advanced solutions using:
* Smartsheet Control Center
* Data Shuttle
* Dynamic View
* WorkApps
* Advanced automations and formulas
* Design solutions that support cross-functional and cross-geographical teams.
* Ensure solutions are robust, maintainable, and aligned to best practice.
Client Engagement
* Run discovery sessions to understand business processes, pain points, and success criteria.
* Translate ambiguous or high-level business requirements into clear technical designs.
* Act as a trusted technical advisor to customer stakeholders.
* Deliver solution walkthroughs, enablement sessions, and handovers.
Pre-Sales & Advisory Support
* Support pre-sales activities, including:
* Solution scoping
* Technical feasibility assessments
* Estimates and delivery approach
* Contribute to demos, workshops, and Proof of Concepts.
* Advise on Smartsheet capabilities, limitations, and best-fit architecture.
Quality, Standards & Mentorship (Senior Consultant)
* Review and provide feedback on solution designs produced by other consultants.
* Act as an escalation point for complex technical challenges.
* Contribute to internal best practices, templates, and accelerators.
* Mentor junior consultants through pairing, reviews, and informal coaching.
Required Skills & Experience
Smartsheet Expertise (Essential)
* Extensive, hands-on Smartsheet experience — this is non-negotiable.
* Proven ability to design and build complex Smartsheet solutions, not just individual sheets.
* Deep understanding of:
* Smartsheet architecture and data models
* Automation limits and performance considerations
* Enterprise governance and security concepts
* Experience delivering Smartsheet solutions for large or complex customers.
Consulting & Delivery Skills
* Experience working directly with customers in a delivery or consulting capacity.
* Strong requirements gathering and solution design skills.
* Ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
* Comfortable owning delivery outcomes and managing competing priorities.
Senior Consultant Additional Expectations
* Recognised as a technical expert in Smartsheet.
* Comfortable leading solution design for large or high-risk engagements.
* Experience coaching or mentoring others.
* Proactive in identifying improvements to delivery methods and standards.
