Human Resources Advisor x2
Permanent Full-Time – 35 hours per week
Location: Liverpool
Salary: £33,000 to £37,000 dependent on experience
Benefits: 29 days annual leave (plus statutory holidays), Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS) with employer contributions starting at 19.6%, support for continued professional studies
Job Description:
1. Act as the first point of contact for stakeholders, providing advice and support on HR issues.
2. Support line managers in the Staff Attendance procedure and sickness review meetings.
3. Advise Managers in the recruitment process and provide administrative support.
4. Ensure new staff are fully onboarded with relevant information and training.
5. Update and amend employee contracts and ensure compliance checks are completed.
6. Review and improve HR policies and procedures.
7. Support, coach, and advise managers on people-related activities and issues.
8. Take the lead in HR projects across the organisation.
Requirements:
1. Previous experience in a similar HR role.
2. Experience in not-for-profit or public sector organizations.
3. Desire to learn new skills and gain further knowledge.
4. Knowledge of Employment Law and legislation.
5. CIPD Level 5 qualified or working towards this.
6. Knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel.
7. Attention to detail.
8. Car driver and owner preferred due to varied client locations.
