A forward-thinking secondary school in Wakefield is on the lookout for a passionate Design Technology Teacher to join their creative faculty. Whether your specialism is Product Design, Resistant Materials, or Food Tech, there’s room here to shape lessons that really stick.

What you’ll be doing:
5. Delivering inspiring Design Tech lessons across KS3–KS4
6. Helping students design, make, and evaluate with confidence
7. Keeping things safe, creative, and curriculum-aligned
8. Collaborating with a team who value big ideas and practical outcomes
You’ll need:
9. UK QTS or equivalent DT teaching qualification
10. Experience teaching Design Technology in a secondary setting
11. A creative, solution-focused mindset and a steady pair of hands
12. The ability to bring out the best in students (and their prototypes)
