Conveyancer / Case Handler – Residential Team\n\nLocation: Liverpool, L3 2PP (office-based for first 3 months, then hybrid: 2 days office, 3 days WFH)\nHours: Full-time, Mon–Fri, 9:00–17:00\nStart Date: ASAP (flexible)\n\nSalary: up to £30k base + competitive uncapped bonus (£7k+ once established)\n\nJoin our supportive, sociable and ambitious Residential team as a Case Handler. You’ll manage your own varied caseload of sale and purchase conveyancing transactions (not just standard freeholds!) from instruction to completion – with tailored support, bonus schemes that reward your results, and the work-life balance of hybrid working.\n\nWhat You’ll Do:\n\n * Manage a caseload of Residential transactions from start to finish\n\n * Liaise with clients, developers, solicitors, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless communication.\n\n * Prepare and review legal documents and correspondence.\n\n * Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all transactions on our CMS.\n\n * Provide exceptional customer service, promptly addressing client queries/concerns.\n\n * Work to exchange and revenue targets with a focus on five-star client feedback\n\nWhat We’re Looking For:\n\n * Experience supporting residential conveyancing transactions\n\n * Must have hands-on experience with:\n\n * Source of Funds checks (reviewing bank statements, conducting checks directly)\n\n * Searches and sale enquiries (confident in writing up reports, not just ordering)\n\n * Strong communication and relationship-building skills\n\n * Excellent telephone manner - confident in explaining the conveyancing process to clients\n\n * Organised, detail-oriented, and solutions-focused\n\n * Familiar with case management systems (Proclaim a plus)\n\n * Passionate about delivering great service and achieving results\n\nWhat You’ll Get in Return:\n\n * A supportive, structured 3-month onboarding programme that combines classroom/MS Teams training with a gradual build-up of real-life casework - giving you the tools, confidence, and hands-on support to thrive from day one.\n\n * Competitive quarterly bonus: our case handlers typically earn an average of £7-8k once established, bonus is uncapped and based on your personal performance\n\n * Study support options (employer-funded after 12 months) and ongoing training\n\n * Varied workload – mixed bag of caseloads (not just standard freeholds!) with exposure to and training on the more complex transactions\n\n * Long-term development opportunities and progression pathways into senior roles\n\n * 22 days holiday (rising to 25) + Bank Holidays, with buy/carry over options\n\n * Employee benefits: death in service, EAP, counselling, and salary sacrifice (tech, nursery fees, gym, cycle, car)\n\n * Extras: free conveyancing, mortgage advice, staff discounts\n\nWhy PLS?\nWe’re a fast-growing, modern law firm where people come first.
