Job Title: Vehicle Technician
Location: Chelmsford
Basic Salary: £42,000 OTE: £46,600
Hours: Monday: 8:30am – 5:00pm Tuesday to Friday: 8:00am – 5:00pm Saturday mornings on a rota

We’re looking for a Master Technician to join a well-established and high-performing workshop in Chelmsford. Whether you're from a main dealer or an independent garage, if you're a qualified Vehicle Technician looking to step up, this role offers excellent long-term development, training, and earning potential.
Vehicle Technician Role:
Carrying out vehicle diagnostics, health checks, servicing, and repairs
Using the latest diagnostic tools and equipment
Completing work in line with manufacturer standards and customer requirements
Road testing vehicles to confirm faults are fixed
Accurately completing job cards and paperwork
Working closely with the Service team to deliver excellent customer satisfaction

Vehicle Technician Requirements:
Level 3 Vehicle Technician qualification (or equivalent)
Previous experience in a workshop environment
Full UK driving licence
Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
Team player with a positive attitude
EV, hybrid or MOT tester experience is a bonus — but not essential
