The Role Reporting directly to the Financial Controller, you will move beyond retrospective testing and take full ownership of the reporting function. This is a high-visibility role where your work directly impacts board-level decision-making. Key Responsibilities: Management Reporting: Prepare monthly management accounts and detailed cost-variance analysis of construction overheads. Technical Accounting: Take the lead on key monthly balance sheet reconciliations and assist with the annual statutory accounts and external audit process. Tax & Compliance: Gain hands-on experience in industry-specific tax, including VAT and CIS returns. Commercial Projects: Participate in cross-functional projects, including system implementations, capital allowance workings, and banking analysis. Board Packs: Compile and prepare essential financial data for the Board of Directors. Who are you? * Part-Qualified: Ideally in the final year of your ACA/ACCA training contract.
