Job Title: One-to-One Support Worker in Nursery (2-Year-Old Child)

Job Description:
We are looking for a compassionate and experienced One-to-One Support Worker to provide focused support for a 2 year old child in our nursery. The child has been attending the nursery for over 12 months and has been granted an Education, Health, and Care (EHC) assessment. They are showing signs of global developmental delay and require intensive adult interaction as part of their EHC plan.
The successful candidate will work closely with the child, their family, and keyworker to ensure the child's developmental, social, and emotional needs are met in a supportive and inclusive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide consistent, one-to-one support in line with the child's EHC plan
* Deliver intensive adult interaction to support the child's learning and development
* Plan activites to promote engagement in age appropriate activities, fostering learning through play.
* Monitor, observe, and record the child's progress, reporting to their keyworker and parents.
* Collaborate with nursery staff, parents, and external professionals to ensure the child's needs are met.
* Maintain a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment.
Requirements:
* Must have a childcare qualification (Level 2 or 3 in Childcare or Early Years).
* Experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN), particularly those with developmental delays, is desirable.
* Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting young children's development.
* Strong communication and teamwork skills.
