A leading manufacturing business in Cornwall is seeking a talented Manufacturing Engineer to join their growing team. The Role:
As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will play a key role in improving production efficiency, reliability, and overall manufacturing performance. You will be involved in process optimisation, equipment upgrades, and supporting ongoing capital investment projects across the site.
Key Responsibilities:
* Identify and implement process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce waste
* Support installation, commissioning, and optimisation of new equipment and production lines
* Analyse production data to drive performance improvements
* Work closely with maintenance and production teams to resolve technical issues
* Lead or support continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, CI, Six Sigma)
* Ensure compliance with health, safety, and quality standards
About You:
* Proven experience in a Manufacturing Engineer or similar role
* Strong understanding of production processes and continuous improvement methodologies
* Background in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
* Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
* Engineering qualification (HNC/HND/Degree or equivalent) preferred
