We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Teaching Assistant to join our vibrant and supportive team. Salary: £13.75 - £14.50 per hour
Key Responsibilities
* Support the class teacher in delivering engaging and age-appropriate learning activities.
* Assist in creating a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment for all children.
* Provide one-to-one and small group support to pupils, including those with additional needs.
* Help with classroom organisation, preparation of resources, and maintaining a positive learning atmosphere.
* Monitor and record pupil progress, feeding back to the teacher as required.
* Promote positive behaviour and uphold the school’s values and safeguarding policies.
What We’re Looking For
* Experience working with children in an EYFS setting (school or nursery).
* A caring, patient, and proactive approach to supporting young learners.
* Strong communication and teamwork skills.
* Knowledge of EYFS curriculum and child development.
* Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2 or Level 3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning) are desirable but not essential.
