Electrical Supervisor – Housing (Local Authority)
£22.65 per hour (PAYE) | Full Time | 6-Month Contract | Worcestershire
We are currently recruiting for an Electrical Supervisor to support a local authority housing team across Bromsgrove and Redditch. This is a project-based role with responsibility for overseeing electrical works and ensuring compliance across housing stock.
Contract Details
* £22.65 per hour (PAYE)
* 37 hours per week
* Monday to Friday, 09:00 – 17:30
* Contract until September 2026
* Immediate start available
The Role
You will oversee electrical works across a housing portfolio, ensuring works are delivered safely, compliantly, and to a high standard. Responsibilities include:
* Supervising electrical contractors and operatives
* Ensuring compliance with electrical safety regulations (18th Edition, NICEIC standards, etc.)
* Overseeing testing, inspection and remedial works
* Managing quality, performance and health & safety on site
* Liaising with internal teams, tenants and contractors
* Supporting delivery of planned and reactive maintenance programmes
Key Requirements
* Strong background in electrical supervision within housing or FM
* Relevant electrical qualifications (e.g. 18th Edition, NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)
* Experience managing contractors and compliance programmes
* Good understanding of social housing maintenance environments
* Strong organisational and communication skills
