We are currently recruiting for an experienced Senior Engineer to join a major geotechnical and civil engineering renewal scheme in the South West.
This is a site-based role working on a high-value infrastructure project, with some office-based work around Bristol and occasional home working available.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage engineering delivery across site operations
* Production and management of:
* Material approvals
* ITPs
* Red line drawings
* WPPs and RAMs
* Client coordination and attendance at site meetings
* Manage and mentor junior engineers
* Carry out setting out using GPS and Total Station equipment where required
* Ensure works are delivered safely, efficiently, and in line with programme requirements
Please note:
* Some weekend and night working may be required
* A 24/7 possession period is scheduled from 06/07/26 – 03/08/26, therefore flexibility around shifts is essential during this phase
Requirements
Essential
* Minimum 8 years’ experience within civil engineering/infrastructure projects
* Previous Tier 1 contractor experience
* HNC/HND/Degree in Civil Engineering
* ICE membership (Graduate, IEng or MICE desirable)
* SMSTS
* TWC CITB Ticket
* Strong communication and leadership skills

* PTS (Rail)
* Appointed Person (AP)
* ALO Planner / Coordinator / Responsible Manager
