Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Taurus EPR team powered by Epic as an application analyst.
As a Taurus application analyst, you’ll play a vital role in optimising and supporting our Taurus electronic patient record (EPR) system. You’ll work closely with clinicians, department leaders, and IT teams to implement, maintain, and improve Taurus applications that support safe and efficient patient care.
Responsibilities
* Support analysing and documenting local workflows, data collection and reporting requirements.
* Work with stakeholders to translate their requirements into system configuration under the guidance of the Senior Analyst.
* Ensure the system is configured to meet new ‘best practice’ ways of working to benefit the whole patient pathway, not just individual modules.
* Apply Epic build and design knowledge to analyse current business practices and provide recommended workflow solutions.
* Support on designated integrated areas (such as testing, printing, business continuity planning) to ensure a coordinated approach across all application teams.
* Collaborate with the team and stakeholders to solve problems and challenges in workflows and system build that have not been previously encountered by Epic.
* Support the planning, designing, and execution of user testing efforts and ensure module testing activity is completed, tracked, and aligned with published deadlines.
Qualifications
* Certification in an application module in at least one Epic service area or working towards gaining certification.
