Job Description:
As a senior member of our team, you will play a key role in ensuring the safe operation of the Reactor Plant. Your key responsibilities will include leading safety engineering efforts, driving the Reactor Plant construction and commissioning programme, and ensuring the Reactor Plant's design intent is upheld.
You will also be responsible for providing advice and undertaking Intelligent Customer responsibilities related to documentation, guidance, and services delivered to the business. Additionally, you will assist in evaluating plant design modifications, evaluate the plant's build progress to determine readiness for transitioning into future build phases, and offer technical challenges to current requirements to ensure thorough evaluation.
To be successful in this role, you will require a degree in an Engineering or Physical Science field, such as Electrical, Mechanical, Nuclear, Materials, Chemistry, or Physics. You will also need to have understanding of the nuclear industry and familiarity with Nuclear Regulations, as well as experience with the Engineering Lifecycle.
A demonstrated ability to justify design changes, preferably within a Nuclear plant setting, is also essential. Prior experience working on a Nuclear plant is highly desirable.
