Your new companyYou'll be joining a leading manufacturer specialising in high-performance packaging solutions for the medical equipment sector. The site operates advanced production and R&D machinery and maintains a strong culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
Your new roleAs a Shift Electrical Engineer on a 4-shift 'Dupont' rotation, you'll provide 24/7 support to production, service plant and development equipment. Responsibilities include electrical diagnostics, fault-finding, repairs, and scheduled maintenance. You'll ensure strict compliance with LOTO procedures, maintain accurate maintenance records and drawings, support energy-saving initiatives, and contribute to ongoing process improvements.
What you'll need to succeed
* 18th Edition (IET Wiring Regulations) - essential
* Completed apprenticeship with an electrical bias - essential
* Relevant electrical engineering qualification
* Strong manufacturing experience
* Excellent health & safety awareness
* Ability to fault-find, diagnose and repair to component level
* Competent reading circuit diagrams and using diagnostic instrumentation
* Good IT skills, including CMMS familiarity
* Strong organisation, communication, and stakeholder engagement
* Ability to work both independently and within a team
* Experience with contractor management and permit-to-work systems (advantageous)
