Are you an experienced Operations Manager with a strong background in a high-volume manufacturing environment? Do you have a passion for driving change through people and processes?
Our client’s site is going through a large period of investment over the next 2 years and they’re looking for a dynamic Operations Manager with a proven ability to develop, coach and mentor the team through a large period of change.
This role will be responsible for creating a culture to deliver, empower and optimise performance across site. The successful candidate will provide effective leadership across the day-to-day production operations and be responsible for the sites manufacturing excellence strategy. Reporting into the Site Director, the role will be the deputy and offers a clear route to their role in a 2-year time frame.
In this role, you will be responsible for a team of approximately 200, you’ll need to be both strategic and hands-on, capable of inspiring your team while rolling up your sleeves when necessary.
We are seeking someone with a strong track record in a processing, liquid fill, or complex manufacturing environment (chilled foods, ready meals etc) with experience managing cross-functional teams. You will also need a proven track of managing teams and sites through large periods of growth from both a cultural and process aspect.
