Your purpose will be:

As a key member of the Commercial team, the Revenue Manager supports the Cluster Director of Revenue Management (DRM) in executing the resort’s Commercial Strategy. This role centres on tactical execution, in-depth analysis, and data-driven insights that drive revenue growth across Rooms, Restaurants, Spa, Golf and other revenue-generating areas. The role will be an integral part of the resort’s pre-opening team, supporting commercial readiness, systems setup, and initial revenue strategy implementation.

You will ensure data accuracy, analyse market trends, support pricing and forecasting, and contribute to the resort’s distribution and digital optimisation strategies. This role also provides opportunities to deputise for the DRM, supporting leadership growth and contributing to a strong culture of Revenue Management across the hotel.


Job Description
1. Develop, implement, and continuously refine hotel revenue strategies through pricing, inventory management, forecasting, and competitive analysis to maximize RevPAR, market share, and total profitability across all revenue streams.
2. Optimize revenue through effective use of distribution channels, including OTAs and direct platforms, while ensuring data integrity, system hygiene, and full utilization of revenue management and distribution systems.
3. Analyse financial and operational performance, including topline forecasts, monthly P&L, and market share metrics, providing actionable insights and recommendations to the General Manager and leadership team.
4. Lead weekly and bi-weekly revenue management meetings, presenting data-driven insights, forecasts, and strategy adjustments based on market trends and performance results.
5. Collaborate closely with Sales, Finance, Front Office, Reservations, and the Director of Sales to align strategies, manage reservations effectively, and achieve revenue, profit, and guest satisfaction objectives.
6. Support the annual budgeting process and ongoing financial forecasting while monitoring cost controls, stock management, and waste reduction initiatives to ensure maximum profit and budget adherence.
7. Mentor, coach, and develop revenue management team members, fostering a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and high performance through training and structured development.
8. Ensure compliance with all brand standards, SOPs, and quality assurance programmes while identifying and leading operational improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, performance, and guest satisfaction.
9. Support the General Manager in delivering medium- and long-term strategic objectives by evaluating changes in guest needs, guest mix, and the competitive set, recommending and implementing appropriate operational and service enhancements.

Qualifications

What you will need to do this role

10. Strong leadership capability with the ability to inspire, motivate, and develop high-performing teams.
11. Excellent operational knowledge with strong commercial and financial acumen.
12. Bachelor’s Degree from a reputable hospitality school preferred, or equivalent experience.
13. Minimum of 5 years’ operational management experience with a strong Rooms and/or Food & Beverage background, or at least 2 years in a similar senior operational role.
14. Strong understanding of hotel operations, business acumen, and luxury service delivery.
15. Excellent written and spoken English; additional local language skills are desirable.
16. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
17. Demonstrated leadership competencies including communication, coaching, and team development.
18. Well-presented and professionally groomed at all times.
