Spire Bristol Hospital have an exciting opportunity for an experienced receptionist to join the team on a flexible working contract.
A Bank contract at Spire Healthcare is a flexible employment agreement where you are not committed to a set number of hours per week. Instead, you work on an ad-hoc basis, filling shifts that are available at our hospital.
This type of contract is ideal for individuals seeking flexibility, as it allows you to choose shifts that fit your availability, giving you a better work-life balance. Bank contracts are also a fantastic way to earn additional income alongside other contracted work.
Our Bank staff play a crucial role in maintaining service levels during peak times or staff shortages, ensuring that patient care remains
Duties and responsibilities:
1. Welcoming patients to the department
2. Admitting them in the computer ensuring accurate collection data
3. Acting as point person for enquiries
4. Carrying out various admin task, including filling of patient notes
5. Compliance with forms and processes.
6. Discharge of patients onto computer system ensuring accuracy of all information.
Who we're looking for:
7. A personable individual with the ability to work on own initiative as well as part of a team
8. Good basic PC skills, including Word, Excel and Outlook
9. Excellent customer service skills
10. Great communication skills at all levels
11. Experience in a customer service environment is desirable
12. Previous experience in administration is essential
13. Attention to detail
14. Ideally have worked in a reception post previously
