Job Summary and Key Responsibilities
The ideal candidate for the Sales Manager role is extremely motivated, career‑driven, and experienced in the current sales market.
* Grow the volume of new sales business and income production for the branch.
* Appraise and instruct residential sales properties.
* Identify other potential business opportunities and refer them to the appropriate division.
* Maintain quality customer care.
* Meet and exceed lettings business targets.
* Register, qualify and manage applicants.
* Arrange and conduct viewing appointments and secure property lets.
* Work in compliance with all legal obligations.
* Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of available properties.
* Implement effective canvassing and marketing strategies.
* Develop the core business in the branch.
* Carry out monthly 1–2–1s with staff.
Skills required
* Previous senior sales experience with a proven track record of securing new business.
* Listing and valuation experience.
* Excellent sales ability.
* High level of customer service skills.
* Good telephone manner and positive attitude.
* The ability to negotiate.
* Tenacity and a self‑starter mindset.
* Ability to build and nurture trusted relationships at all levels.
* Responsive to change.
