Pertemps is currently recruiting for a Machine Operator on behalf of our client based in Kidderminster. This role offers the potential for a permanent contract after a successful trial period. Previous experience as a Machine Operator is required. Candidates must have their own transport due to the location of this role.
The Duties of a Machine Operator:
* Set up and operate production machinery according to specifications
* Monitor machines during operation to ensure quality and efficiency
* Perform routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting
* Record production data and report issues or inconsistencies
* Adhere to health, safety, and environmental guidelines
* Work collaboratively with team members to meet production targets
The Requirements of a Machine Operator:
* Previous experience operating machinery
* Good mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
* Ability to follow safety procedures and technical instructions
* Ability to stand, lift, and move materials during shifts
* Occasional weekend work required due to shift pattern
* Must drive and have own transport
