Production Control will play a key role in supporting the establishment of a data-driven culture within Mowi’s new Production Control function in Rosyth. Reporting to the Production Controller, the role is responsible for managing the capture, validation, and analysis of physical production data across the site. The successful candidate will ensure that all performance and production data is collected accurately and consistently, providing clear insights to support decision-making, process optimisation, and operational reporting. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented individual who enjoys working with complex datasets, developing reporting tools, and helping to standardise data processes. Key Areas: Increase production data accuracy and develop M3 expertise • Role is area dedicated and candidate will have clear and concise understanding of the production area processes and procedures • Check that MOs are closed every day following the right procedure. Meticulously checking the inputs and outputs of M0s to ensure accurate reporting. Escalating discrepancies where required • Manually update the RM consumption in M3 for MOs not closed correctly. Amend the transactions reported to mirror real life • Check accuracy of RM consumed in MOs versus produced quantities, bases on standard yields. Do corrections if necessary • Check that no materials remain in WIP locations and OUTPUT locations at the end of the day • Analyze root causes of deviations and create action plans with shopfloor teams Information Sharing: Production Department: Feedback on MOs deviation, animation and action plans management • Controlling: Regular feedbacks on data accuracy, close discussions on root causes analysis • Work collaboratively with other departments to ensure alignment of data definitions and standards • Prepare visual data summaries for daily and weekly performance reviews Future Responsibility • As the department becomes more embedded, over time, this function will start to pick up responsibility for product structure creation.
