HR Generalist Job Description
Due to continued growth, we are seeking an HR Generalist to provide key local HR support at our production site in Campsie, supporting Operational Managers across all aspects of their people strategy. You will be a vital member of the HR team, supporting large-scale manufacturing operations in Ireland. The role primarily focuses on monitoring and providing headcount data across the site to meet business demand and ensure compliance.
Responsibilities
1. Utilize HR and business systems to build and report on employee KPIs, enabling fact-based decision-making.
2. Monitor HR data for accuracy and quality management.
3. Provide HR advice, guidance, and support to management and staff in line with company policy and employment legislation across Ireland's manufacturing network.
4. Assist with HR systems integration and change management initiatives.
5. Support managers in staff management and achieving departmental objectives.
6. Drive HR-related business initiatives and improvements.
7. Identify and evaluate development needs within the business.
8. Develop departmental development plans to enhance skills and knowledge.
9. Implement and monitor HR procedures and ensure compliance.
10. Coordinate with recruitment providers and hiring managers to recruit qualified candidates.
11. Resolve HR issues promptly and cost-effectively.
12. Perform general HR administration and maintain personnel records.
13. Provide data to Payroll for accurate monthly payroll processing.
Qualifications
* Minimum of 3 years' experience in an HR-related role, including employee relations.
* A relevant HR degree is advantageous.
* Knowledge of Oracle Fusion, HCM, and ORC is beneficial.
* Proficiency in HR databases and MS Office applications.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Physical & Environmental Demands
Must be present on a manufacturing site, adhering to PPE and EHS policies. Travel of approximately 10% to other sites in Ireland (Burnfoot or Letterkenny) may be required.
