Job Description
Quantum Scholars are working in partnership with a "Good" Ofsted-rated secondary school in Slough, Berkshire, who are seeking a dynamic and passionate Religious Education Teacher to join them from September 2026.
This is a full-time, permanent position. The successful candidate will deliver engaging RE lessons across Key Stages 3, 4 and 5.
This role would suit an ECT or someone who is relatively new to teaching.

Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver high-quality, engaging RE lessons to students of varying abilities, ensuring strong progress for all learners
* Develop a curriculum that promotes critical thinking, reflection, and a deeper understanding of world religions and ethical issues
* Mark and assess student work, providing clear and constructive feedback
* Maintain high standards of behaviour and create a positive, respectful classroom environment
* Contribute to departmental meetings, curriculum development, and teaching strategies
* Attend parents' evenings and school events as required
* Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve the best outcomes for all students
Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
* Experience teaching RE up to A-Level (11-18)
* Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage a range of learners
* A genuine passion for delivering an inclusive and thought-provoking RE curriculum
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
* A collaborative approach and willingness to contribute to wider school life
* Right to work in the UK
