The Role:We are looking for dedicated Student Engagement and Support Officers to join our team and play a key role in monitoring student attendance and engagement. You will work closely with academic schools and professional services to identify students at risk of non-progression or non-continuation, providing proactive outreach and personalised support to help them re-engage and succeedKey Responsibilities:
* Monitor attendance and engagement data to identify students requiring support
* Contact and work with students showing low engagement or at risk of disengagement
* Collaborate with academic and professional teams to implement targeted interventions
* Provide pastoral support and refer students to specialist services where appropriate
* Promote wellbeing initiatives and contribute to creating a supportive, inclusive student community
* Ensure all students feel valued and empowered to thrive academically and personally
About you:
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a student-centred approach
* Experience working in a student support, pastoral, or wellbeing role
* Ability to manage sensitive situations with empathy, discretion, and professionalism
* Skilled in data monitoring and using insights to guide interventions
* A collaborative mindset and the ability to build strong cross-functional relationships
