OA are recruiting for a Production Manager to join our client’s dynamic and growing team.
Hours: 40-hour week, Monday – Friday (8:00am – 4:30pm). Option to finish at lunchtime on Friday if hours are achieved. Overtime rate x1.5

* Develop and implement effective production schedules to optimise efficiency and meet production targets
* Supervise and coordinate production activities to ensure smooth and timely execution of projects
* Hands on effective management
* Ensure that production equipment is regularly inspected and well-maintained to guarantee smooth operations and minimise downtime
* Enforce strict adherence to health and safety protocols across all production processes to maintain a safe working environment
* Implement quality control measures to uphold product standards and identify areas for improvement
* Provide effective leadership to production staff, fostering a positive work environment and enhancing productivity
* Analyse production data to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and opportunities for process optimisation
* Review team skill requirements and ensure cross training is maintained to enable a multiskilled team
Production Manager Skills and Experience
* Advanced apprenticeship in Engineering, Manufacturing or equivalent job experience
* Proven experience as a Production Manager or similar role within the manufacturing industry
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively
* Knowledge of materials and production processes
* Familiarity with equipment maintenance and health & safety protocols
* Excellent leadership and communication skills to motivate and guide the production team
* Problem-solving aptitude to address challenges and implement improvements
* Proficiency in using relevant production software and tools
