Job Opportunity: Associate Director of Knowledge Exchange and Business Engagement
The University of Salford is seeking a dynamic and strategic leader to join our Research and Knowledge Exchange (RKE) Directorate as the Associate Director of Knowledge Exchange and Business Engagement. This is an exciting opportunity to shape and deliver an ambitious agenda that enhances collaboration with external partners, drives income growth, and maximises the impact of our research and innovation.
As we implement our new University Strategy, this senior role will play a pivotal part in enhancing non-academic partnerships and further embedding knowledge exchange (KE) across our academic and professional communities. We are looking for a professional with a proven track record in leading and enhancing KE and business engagement activities to achieve strategic outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
1. Lead the development and execution of strategies to strengthen collaboration between the university and external non-academic organisations.
2. Provide strategic direction for KE activities, focusing on enhancing HEIF funding and ensuring maximum ROI.
3. Collaborate closely with the Associate PVC Knowledge Exchange, PVC Deans, and Associate Deans to advance the KE agenda, particularly in income generation and performance.
