We have an exciting opportunity for a Bank Pharmacist to join our Pharmacy team at HMP Dovegate. HMP Dovegate is a category B remand Prison located in Staffordshire. The prison houses around 1200 patients with a variety of needs, including a number of patients with long term conditions and complex health needs which can result in high polypharmacy. Within this role you will be working within a busy pharmacy and focus mainly on dispensing, second checking and clinical screening.
Hours
Shifts will be based Monday to Friday between 8am-5pm
Salary
This is a bank role with a salary of £30.41 per hour

Main duties of the job
As the Clinical Pharmacist your responsibilities will vary. You will:
* Ensure the provision and delivery of an integrated, safe, legal, high quality prison pharmaceutical service
* Provide expert advice on pharmaceutical matters and ensuring a safe and modern medicines management services
* Lead a team of Pharmacy technicians

Qualifications & Experience
Essential
* GPhC registered Pharmacist
* Vocational Masters Degree in Pharmacy including pre-registration training
* Excellent communication skills
* Experience developing effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
