About the Role
We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable Teaching Assistants to support pupils across a range of primary schools in the Thurrock area. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a positive learning environment and support children in reaching their full potential.
Key Responsibilities
1. Support the class teacher in delivering engaging and effective lessons
2. Work with small groups or on a one-to-one basis with pupils
3. Assist with the preparation of classroom materials and resources
4. Help manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies
5. Provide additional support to pupils with varying learning needs
6. Promote a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment
Requirements
7. Previous experience working with children (school-based experience preferred)
8. A patient, positive, and proactive approach
9. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
10. Basic understanding of the primary curriculum is desirable
11. Relevant qualifications (e.g. Level 2/3 TA) are advantageous but not essential
