Job Summary
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Bar Staff to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and a commitment to providing exceptional guest services. As a Bar Staff member, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere, serving drinks, and ensuring that all patrons have an enjoyable experience.
Duties
* Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with standard recipes
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including glassware and equipment
* Engage with guests to provide excellent service, including taking orders and making recommendations
* Upsell menu items to enhance the guest experience and increase sales
* Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of hygiene
* Assist in food service as needed, ensuring timely service during busy periods
* Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, utilising basic math skills for till operations
* Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow during peak hours
* Manage time effectively to ensure prompt service while maintaining quality
Requirements
* Previous experience in a hospitality or restaurant environment is essential
* Strong time management skills to handle busy shifts efficiently
* Excellent guest services skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour
* Ability to upsell products effectively to enhance customer satisfaction
* Basic math skills for handling transactions and managing orders accurately
* A keen interest in the food and beverage industry, with a willingness to learn
* 4 week probation period to be reviewed, with the possibility of going permanent
