Job Description
We are looking for an experienced professional who can manage proactive, reactive and planned works within agreed timeframes, support planned shutdowns, and represent the company in a professional manner to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
1. Provide mechanical, electrical and building services maintenance across client site(s).
2. Carry out fault finding, repairs, maintenance and installation works.
3. Complete electrical and mechanical PPM, proactive and reactive tasks issued via the helpdesk within set timeframes.
4. Maintain containment buildings and associated Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP) systems.
5. Undertake ETP system maintenance during planned shutdowns, ensuring tasks are completed in line with the current contract and required reports are produced.
6. Provide call-out response as directed by the supervisor and support out-of-hours cover via the ISS shift team.
7. Control and mentor contractors, ensuring workmanship meets required standards and issuing Permits to Work.
8. Ensure all mechanical, electrical and control equipment operates within scope, meets performance criteria, and complies with company standards.
Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications
9. Proven experience in electrical building services maintenance, including fault finding, maintenance, installation and inspection/testing.
10. Previous experience delivering reactive and PPM building services maintenance.
11. Experience working within FM or building services environments in commercial properties.
12. Strong understanding of strict Health & Safety procedures, including risk assessments and method statements.
Qualifications
13. City & Guilds 2230 Level 3 or NVQ 2356 / 2357, or
14. City & Guilds 2330 Level 3 in Electrical Installation, or
15. AM1 and AM2, and
16. City & Guilds 18th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations (BS 7671:2018), preferably with A2 amendment.
17. Full UK Driving Licence.
