Role Overview
You will provide personalized care to clients, supervise junior staff, and ensure care plans are implemented effectively. This role requires strong leadership, excellent communication, and a commitment to safeguarding and enhancing residents’ wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver personal care in line with individual care plans
* Supervise and support junior staff, fostering teamwork
* Assist with mobility, hygiene, dressing, and medication management
* Maintain accurate care records and update plans as needed
* Support emotional wellbeing through companionship and activities
* Ensure safety and compliance with health and safety protocols
* Liaise with families, healthcare professionals, and external agencies
* Contribute to staff training and mentoring programmes
* Use IT systems to document care and manage records efficiently
Candidate Requirements
* Proven experience in senior care or supervisory roles within domiciliary care
* Strong leadership and team management skills
* Excellent communication (verbal and written)
* Competence in developing and reviewing care plans
* Driving licence (essential)
* Knowledge of safeguarding and health & safety regulations
