About the Role As a Research Degrees Administrator, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality, professional support across Doctoral Services. You'll provide specialist advice to doctoral students and academic staff and support the administration of assessment and progression processes. Working closely with the Research Degrees Officer, you will contribute to the development of systems and services that underpin the doctoral journey and enhance the student experience. This is a permanent, full-time position (35 hours per week), offering a dynamic opportunity to work at the heart of the University's research community. About You You will bring: Strong communication skills, with the ability to respond to enquiries clearly, sensitively and professionally. A proactive, customer-focused approach to service delivery. Proven experience in administrative roles, ideally within higher education or a similar setting. Confidence in managing data and using IT systems to support decision-making and reporting. A collaborative mindset, with the ability to work flexibly across teams and contribute to shared goals. You' will also be comfortable handling sensitive student data, liaising with academic colleagues and other professional services teams, and supporting training and development initiatives for staff and students. About the Doctoral Services Team Doctoral Services is a dedicated team within the Research and Innovation Directorate, committed to supporting the University's vibrant community of doctoral researchers.
