ABOUT THE JOB
Account Executive - working within a highly driven and experienced team, the Account Executive is responsible for researching prospective, new and existing client accounts to optimise commercial success throughout those accounts. You will be a proactive researcher, quick to identify rebooks, new contacts and opportunities. Tender and Bid research, to seek out contact information in Procurement, Purchasing and Strategic Sourcing teams, effectively coordinating and updating our ongoing Tender Calendar.
Key duties and responsibilities:
* Consultatively engaging with clients to raise brand awareness and to enhance IVS presence
* Understanding and qualifying client briefs and supporting in converting enquiries to contract / confirmation stage
* Identifying re-book opportunities and consecutive year deals
* Tender Calendar - research contacts in Procurement, Purchasing and Strategic Sourcing related roles, updating our Tender Calendar and supporting the outreach, when required
* Attend industry events and expo’s to continually develop venue and industry knowledge

Key Requirements
* Event / Conference office / Sales experience – minimum 1 year
* Experienced in the MICE sector – venue knowledge an advantage
* Customer-focused with a commitment to satisfaction
* Excellent interpersonal skills - relationship-building and collaboration abilities
* Strong administration and organisational skills
* Proficient in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint and CRM systems
