May 2025 - Chemistry Specialist Teacher, Birmingham Job Title: A-Level Chemistry TeacherLocation: North BirminghamSalary: £120 - £250 per day. Dependent on experience.Contract Type: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM. The school prides themselves on their excellent education and on their strong community. It has also been rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted. The Role: We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Chemistry Teacher to join their team to support them.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and challenging lessons that inspire students to achieve their best. You will be expected to: Plan and deliver high-quality Science lessons across Key Stages 3 -5. Use a variety of teaching methods to cater to different learning styles.
Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback. Contribute to the development of the Science curriculum. Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
A degree in Chemistry. Experience teaching Chemistry at A-Level. Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Chemistry Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
