GSL Education are currently welcoming applications from an enthusiastic Drama Teacher to work in schools across Barnsley (S70, S71). This is a fantastic opportunity to engage pupils in the performing arts while building their confidence, communication, and teamwork skills. As a Drama Teacher, you will deliver dynamic and imaginative lessons that encourage pupils to explore acting, improvisation, script work, and stagecraft. Key Responsibilities: Plan and deliver engaging drama lessons as a Drama Teacher. Encourage creativity, confidence, and self-expression through performance. Support pupils in developing acting, presentation, and collaboration skills. Assess pupil progress and provide constructive feedback. Contribute to school productions and extracurricular drama activities. Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification. Experience teaching Drama in a school setting. Strong classroom management and organisational skills. A creative, energetic, and motivating teaching approach.
