We are seeking a motivated and knowledgeable Lecturer in Motor Vehicle to join our dynamic Automotive department. This is an exciting opportunity to inspire and develop the next generation of automotive professionals within a well-equipped and forward-thinking learning environment.
About the Role
You will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning across a range of motor vehicle courses, supporting students to achieve their full potential. The role includes planning and delivering engaging lessons, assessing student progress, and contributing to curriculum development across Levels 1 to 3.
Key Responsibilities
1. Deliver engaging and effective teaching across motor vehicle programmes (Levels 1–3)
2. Assess and track student progress, providing constructive feedback
3. Support students’ academic and personal development
4. Contribute to course development and continuous improvement
5. Maintain a safe and professional workshop and learning environment
Essential Requirements
6. A minimum of a Level 3 vocational qualification in the Automotive industry
7. GCSE grade C/4 or equivalent in English and Maths
8. Substantial, recent, and relevant industrial experience relating to Light Motor Vehicles
9. Ability to teach across different levels (Levels 1–3)
Desirable
10. Teaching qualification (or willingness to work towards one)
11. Previous experience in a further education setting
12. Strong communication and organisational skills
