This role provides stability, variety, and hands-on work across all major forklift types.
Overview Service, maintain, and repair a wide range of forklift trucks and warehouse equipment.
Carry out diagnostics, fault-finding, and mechanical/electrical repairs.
Work independently as a mobile engineer visiting customer sites.
Complete service reports and maintain accurate documentation.
Deliver excellent customer service and technical support.
Ensure compliance with all safety and industry regulations.
Requirements Previous experience as a Forklift Engineer or Plant/Material Handling Engineer.
Strong mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic fault-finding skills.
Ability to work independently and manage daily schedules.
Full UK driving licence.
Strong customer-facing communication skills.
Experience working on multiple forklift brands beneficial.
Reliable, professional, and safety-focused approach.
Salary and benefits £45,000-£50,000 package (40-hour week).
