Position Summary
To support the Plant Controller in all areas of Operational Finance.
Responsibilities
* Month End Closing including
* Balance Sheet Recs
* Journals (Accrual, Prepayment, Stock, Depreciation, etc.)
* General Analysis and Reconciliations
* Inventory Counts, control and investigation
* Raw Material
* WIP
* Third Party Warehouse
* MRO
* Consignment
* Regular Reporting
* KPIs
* Scrap and Obsolescence
* Plant Costs v Budget / Forecast
* Fixed Asset and Capex Reporting
* Support for Budget & Forecast
* Support with Audits – External and Internal (inc. Sox)
What we are looking for
Knowledge and Experience
* Part or newly qualified (CIMA, ACA, ACCA)
* FMCG / Manufacturing experience essential
* Proficient use of Microsoft packages
* Previous experience of SAP is desirable
* Strong analytical skills and the ability to present financial information to others from non-financial backgrounds

* Ability to identify opportunities and implement process improvements
* High level of commitment, positive attitude, flexible and proactive
* Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to establish and maintain working relationships at all levels of the organisation
