The successful applicant will be responsible for painting vehicles to a high standard and ensuring that the job is completed efficiently and safely. Key Responsibilities Include: Prepare and cleaning vehicles before painting Mask off parts of the car that are not to be painted Select and mix the correct colour Ensure that the finish is smooth and even by inspecting for defects Responsible for cleaning and maintaining your work area and tools Polishing and waxing vehicles after painting Applying layers of primer and paint to vehicles Carrying out minor repairs What the client requires from you: Knowledge of automotive painting materials and techniques Strong attention to detail and quality control skills Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a busy environment Knowledge of health and safety regulations Strong communication skills and a team player Reliable and punctual Ability to work independently and as part of a team
