The PCN Manager is an integral part of the Network leadership team. You will work directly with the Network Clinical Directors, Digital Transformation Lead, Practice Managers and PCN Board managers.
Working as the lead for Network employed ARRS staff, the post includes HR oversight. The PCN manager is also responsible for the Social Prescribing Link worker service.
The role is for between 22.5 and 30 hours per week, ideally over 4 days. The successful candidate will be expected to work across the 3 NCN practice sites and may be required to travel between sites during the working day.
Main duties of the job
The NCN Managers areas of responsibility include:
* First point of contact for Practice Managers with regard to delivery of North Care Network projects/schemes
* Lead on HR, recruitment, induction and training of NCN staff.
* Be responsible for the PCN finances, including budgeting, monitoring and reporting.
* Coordinate data collection, complete timely submissions and service performance monitoring on behalf of the Network.
* Represent the network at local, regional and stakeholder meetings.
* Management and development of the SPLW service.
* Delivery of high-quality day to day operations.

North Care Network (NCN) is a forward thinking network of 3 practices, Central Surgery (Barton-upon-Humber), Winterton Medical Practice and Bridge Street Surgery (Brigg). We have a combined listsize of around 33,500 patients and cover a large semi rural area of North Lincolnshire.
The PCN ARRS staff include First Contact Physiotherapists, Community Mental Health Workers and Advanced Clinical Practitioners, all working within the Practice locations alongside the employed practice staff.

Person Specification
Qualifications
* Formal Management Qualification or equivalent significant experience.
Experience
* Experience in managing and leading staff.
* Ability to plan, organise and co-ordinate work effectively under own initiative.
* Knowledge of QOF, NHS long term plan and Enhanced Services.
* Understanding of the payment structures within Primary Care.
* 12 months experience in a senior role working with/in Primary Care or similar with transferable skills.
* EMIS and SystmOne skills.
* Experience of facilitating and managing change
