What you’ll do
1. Manage and coordinate the year-end schedule for financial accounts, liaising with auditors and stakeholders.
2. Produce statutory accounts in line with IFRS, FreM, and regulatory standards.
3. Support interim and year-end audits, preparing working papers and resolving queries efficiently.
4. Review and enhance outsourced financial reporting to maintain accuracy and compliance.
5. Analyse monthly accounts, prepare management reports, and provide actionable insights.
6. Oversee funding flows, daily cash forecasts, and reconcile financial data.
7. Act as the key contact between finance and outsourced providers, ensuring strong control and compliance.
8. Manage treasury functions, including bank accounts, authorisations, and cash monitoring.
9. Cultivate strong working relationships across teams and providers to improve processes and resolve issues.
What you’ll need
10. Fully qualified Accountant with substantial technical experience in financial accounting.
11. Experience in financial accounting, reconciliations, and year-end processes; public sector or financial instruments experience is desirable.
12. Excellent analytical skills, with attention to detail and the confidence to challenge when necessary.
13. Professional, collaborative, and confident, able to build positive relationships internally and externally.
