We are working with a well-resourced primary school in East Birmingham to appoint a highly organised Office Manager. Reporting to the School Business Manager, the successful candidate will lead the administrative team and ensure the efficient running of the school office.

About the School The school is a large, vibrant primary with a dedicated resource base for pupils with additional needs. It is an inclusive environment that serves a supportive local community. The premises are modern and well-kept, and the school is part of a local Multi-Academy Trust that offers excellent networking opportunities for its administrative leaders.

The Role The Office Manager will lead a small team of administrative staff, providing line management and guidance. Responsibilities include overseeing school admissions, managing staff records on the Single Central Register (SCR), and assisting with financial tasks. The successful candidate will also manage school communications and ensure that all administrative services are delivered to a high standard.

Requirements

* Leadership: Proven experience in a senior administrative role with the ability to lead a team.

* Technical: Strong IT skills and familiarity with school management systems (e.g., SIMS or Bromcom).

* Compliance: The school is unable to offer visa sponsorship; candidates must have the right to work in the UK. A valid enhanced DBS is required.

Salary £28,000 – £34,000 per annum.
