An extremely involved HR Generalist role is now available at a high profile yet niche Financial Services business. This is a senior level position and requires candidates with a suitable background.
This business is headquartered in the US and has 200 employees globally. This role provides generalist support to all 200 yet primarily focuses on London (26 employees) and Dublin (5 employees).
As part of the HR Team, your other colleagues will be based in New York but you will work closely with them and decisions will be made together as a team. Additionally you will be working on firmwide, global projects.
This role will partner with the Head of London as well as other senior staff and the wider HR team in order to help the business deliver on it's objectives as well as provide a 1st class HR offering overall.
This is a broad generalist position with a difference. All of the HR team tend to have a flair in a particular area. We are looking at this position from three angles:
Someone with a very strong Employment Law / ER background
Someone from a BD perspective (business development recruitment i.e. has grown a business by hiring in teams)
Someone from a very strong comp/reward background.
As well as these points the candidate will also be able to work successfully on the other generalist areas and have a proven track record in delivering global projects.
Financial Services experience is ESSENTIAL however that may be big banking, asset management, investment or smaller FS houses. Candidates must also have superb business acumen and be highly commercial. Additionally candidates MUST be happy to operate top to bottom. Strategically and operationally.
