About the Role:
As a Social Media Executive, you will manage TCL’s social media strategy for Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok, reporting directly to the Marketing Manager. Working closely with the design team, EUBG team, and local agencies, you will develop and execute engaging content to drive brand awareness and audience growth. This hybrid role requires attendance at our Slough office on a weekly basis.
Key Responsibilities
Social Media Strategy
* Lead the execution of TCL’s social media strategy across Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok, ensuring alignment with overall brand objectives and marketing priorities.
Content Localisation
* Adapt and tailor EUBG social content for the UK market with support from the design team, ensuring relevance and resonance with local audiences.
Content Creation & Management
* Plan, create, and publish engaging content through a structured monthly content calendar.
* Develop diverse content assets including self-shot, edited, and AI-enhanced visuals to maintain consistency and creativity across social platforms.
TikTok Expertise
* Grow and manage TCL’s presence on TikTok, including TikTok Shop operations, livestreams, shoppable content, and innovative TikTok-specific campaigns.
Community Engagement & Social Listening
* Monitor and manage day-to-day interactions across social media channels, including comments, DMs, enquiries, and mentions.
* Foster and build community relationships by initiating conversations, moderating discussions, and gathering audience insights to inform strategy.
Influencer Marketing
* Manage influencer partnerships for collaborations, and user-generated content.
* Provide actionable insights and recommendations for content and engagement optimisation.
Agency Management
* Oversee and collaborate with the local social media agency to ensure seamless execution of the social strategy and brand consistency across all content and campaigns.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
* Maintain close collaboration and regular alignment with the EUBG team and other internal teams (PR, marketing, design) to ensure integrated campaign execution.
Wider Brand Marketing Campaigns Support
* Support broader brand marketing initiatives including seasonal campaigns, product launches, event activations, and paid media campaigns.
* Ensure consistency in messaging and execution across all channels, enhancing TCL’s brand visibility and engagement.
