Description
GlobalLogic is looking to hire a Global Account Manager for Automotive Retail Sales.
The starting base salary range for this role is estimated to be $150,000 to $200,000. This salary range is based on the role and is provided as a good-faith estimate. The amount offered may be higher or lower. GlobalLogic considers various factors in making an offer, including candidate qualifications, work experience, operational needs, travel and onsite requirements, internal peer equity, prevailing wages, responsibilities, and other market and business considerations.
Requirements
* 10-15 years of IT sales and consulting experience, with demonstrated success in leading sales functions in a fast-paced environment, driving growth in key GlobalLogic strategic segments: Automotive Retail – Sales, Marketing, Parts, Service, Quality, and Warranty. Hunting and lead development experience is desired.
* Preferred experience in selling to the automotive retail segment: OEMs, Dealer Groups (e.g., Penske, Ashbury), Dealer Management Software Providers (Cox, Reynolds & Reynolds, CDK, Tekion), Specialty ISVs (Palantir, etc.), Big Box Retail (O'Reilly’s, Autozone, Pep Boys, etc.), Hyperscaler experience: AWS, Azure, GCP, SFDC, MS Dynamics. SFDC experience is especially important.
* Knowledgeable and conversant about automotive retail and associated value chains.
* A proven track record of developing, coordinating, and deploying cross-corporate resources to pursue competitive opportunities.
* Proven success in new business acquisition and expanding existing accounts.
* Experience in prospecting and closing deals.
Job Responsibilities
* Conduct roadshows to create awareness of the latest products, solutions, technologies, and innovations in key markets.
* Engage with customers before the release of RFPs to influence technical specifications.
* Act as a consultant for internal and external stakeholders, guiding them on market needs and aligning product roadmaps.
* Gain market insights and help shape the solutions being offered.
* Take end-to-end ownership from solution pitching, demos, to bid defense.
* Collaborate with internal teams to create win-win situations while managing customer engagement on the ground.
* Engage in thorough customer interactions to determine pre- and post-sales support needs and manage pre-sales deliverables.
* Engage customers at various levels to manage perceptions and help build higher entry barriers for competitors.
* Develop multi-year global account strategies, create sales plans, manage sales pipelines, and coordinate with leadership on targets.
* Leverage SMEs within the domain to identify business opportunities from events and conferences.
* Actively work on the pipeline of conversions, qualifying opportunities, and working with prospects.
