Requirements
Must have:
- Hands-on experience with the Microsoft BI Stack - Ability to interpret, transform, and visualise data - Solid understanding of data modelling concepts - Awareness of data governance, quality, and compliance principles - Strong Excel skills for quick-turnaround analysis, including advanced formulas and pivot tables - Familiarity with row and column-level data access concepts - Ability to analyse business challenges and communicate solutions clearly - Proficiency in Power BI from data shaping to dashboard publication - High level of confidence in SQL and exposure to Microsoft Fabric
Responsibilities:
- Champion the use of data across the group and promote data-first thinking in all projects - Work towards establishing Data Experts within engaged departments - Act as a trusted consultant to stakeholders and partners, including regulators - Develop actionable, high-impact dashboards and reports - Report on data quality and process consistency via our Fabric Lakehouse - Support the evolution of our federated data model for a balanced approach - Collaborate with customers to improve processes and decision making - Contribute to agile and waterfall project delivery with clear documentation - Mentor colleagues and support the growth of a high-performing Data Team - Lead research into emerging BI platforms and work towards certifications
