What you’ll do on a typical day:
Allocate and review resource & workload to ensure that tasks are completed in a timely manner to meet all SLA expectations, calling out any potential risks
* Ensure all tasks are completed accurately, these tasks include but are not limited to - cycle counts, SKU updates, status changes, owner updates, stock investigation and resolution
* Complete briefs/reviews/appraisals/recruitment/HR processes/H&S escalations in line with company standards
* Chair/attend department meetings and provide effective handovers
* Liaise and develop relationships with the internal team and external customers
What you need to succeed at GXO:
Proven experience in managing an operational team in a fast-paced warehouse
* Experience with using warehouse management systems, ideally DLX/ Red Prairie
* Experience in inventory/stock control
* A good knowledge of Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, filters, lookup functions, conditional formulas, conditional formatting, charts)
* Excellent communication skills with a focus on maintaining on-site engagement
* Ensure effective communication is delivered to colleagues and management teams daily
