We are seeking an enthusiastic, flexible, and friendly individual to serve as the first point of contact for the Multifaith Chaplaincy team. The successful candidate will work with the existing 0.5FTE Administrative Assistant (currently on reduced hours) and report to the Multifaith Chaplaincy Coordinator. The role involves supporting a team of volunteer Chaplains from diverse faiths and worldviews.
The post will lead on managing social media and internal university communications, including website updates. Additionally, the postholder will assist chaplains with expenses and purchasing tasks.
Excellent personal and written communication skills are essential, along with a friendly, empathetic manner. The role requires strong knowledge of social media platforms and the ability to create engaging online content.
This is a part-time, fixed-term position available immediately until 28 August 2026. The salary is £26,257 per annum pro rata, on Grade C, depending on experience and skills. The expected working days are Monday to Wednesday, with specific hours to be confirmed with the successful candidate.
The role is based on campus at the Streatham site, in the Sarah Turvill Multifaith Centre. The anticipated interview date is 11th September.
