Manufacturing Engineer – Manufacturing
Location: Bournemouth, England, United Kingdom
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and optimise manufacturing processes to improve productivity, quality, and cost‑effectiveness.
* Support new product introduction (NPI) from concept through to production.
* Identify and implement process improvements, tooling solutions, and layout changes.
* Work closely with design, quality, and production teams to resolve technical and production issues.
* Create and maintain process documentation, standard operating procedures, and work instructions.
* Lead or support continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives.
* Provide technical support and training to production staff.
Key Requirements
* Proven experience as a Manufacturing Engineer within a production or engineering environment.
* Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
* Experience in process design, tooling, and production layout.
* Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
* Excellent problem‑solving and communication skills.
* Degree or HNC/HND in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Production Engineering (or equivalent).
