Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with a well-regarded secondary school in Birmingham who are looking to appoint a qualified Science Teacher from May. This is a full-time position with the potential to continue beyond the initial placement. You’ll be joining a supportive and established Science department, delivering engaging lessons across KS3 and KS4 and playing a key role in maintaining strong classroom standards and student progress. The role: Teaching Science across KS3 and KS4 Planning, delivering and marking lessons in line with the national curriculum Supporting students of varying abilities to achieve their full potential Maintaining strong behaviour management and a positive learning environment Working collaboratively with department staff and senior leadership The school: Well-led with a supportive SLT Strong behaviour systems in place Positive learning environment and good staff retention Easily accessible location in Birmingham Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential Experience teaching Science within UK secondary schools Strong behaviour management skills A valid DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one Passion for delivering engaging and effective lessons This is a great opportunity for a Science Teacher looking for a fresh start in a supportive school environment, with the chance to make a real impact.
